Wright Chiropractic Health Center Collected “Cuddly Critter” donations for local law enforcement agencies

Weatherford, TX – Local law enforcement uses stuffed animals to comfort kids who are frightened during a crisis. Unfortunately, they can sometimes go through them quickly. In order to help, Dr. Heather Wright, BS, DC, CCEP of Wright Chiropractic Health Center teamed up with the Weatherford Police Department and collected over 200 new or gently used stuffed animals for local law enforcement.

Kristy DeLoach, Senior CA at Wright Chiropractic, states, “The people of Weatherford were generous with their donations of stuffed animals to help the children in the community. The staff of Wright Chiropractic would like to thank all those who dropped off their donations and helped to make this drive a success!”

Dr. Wright added, “We always enjoy finding different ways to be involved in our community and bringing awareness to different needs in our community. Our patients are always so generous; it’s fun to do these type of activities. We started stacking the stuffed animals in a basket in our waiting room, but ended up overflowing them all around one area of the room. The concern and involvement of our patients in our efforts always makes me proud to be their doctor.”

Dr. Wright is the only Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner practicing in Parker County. She also has special training in chiropractic for children and pregnant women. Wright Chiropractic Health Center is located at 702B Eureka Street in Weatherford and can be found on the web at www.wchcWeatherford.com.
