Some people ask- “why should I come in when I’m not hurting?”

I’m a doctor of logic, so here’s my reply:  If you have a cavity and it doesn’t hurt, should you still get it fixed?  It’s true of the spine.  And like with your teeth, you need to do routine checkups when you’re not hurting to catch it!

Another thought: Do you realign and balance your tires?  Why?  Is it because you “hurt” the car by driving it wrong?  More than likely, no.  Just as with your car, regular use makes your spine go ‘out,” so even if you’ve not had an injury, your day-to-day activities build up.

Don’t wait until it hurts.  Be proactive.  Don’t wait for it to “go away.”  Take control.
