According to the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Chiropractic patients were less prone to recurring low back disability compared to patients who received care by a  physician or physical therapist.   16.9% of physical therapy patients had recurring disability. 12.5% of physician patients (traditionally treated with medicine) saw ongoing flair-ups, but just 6.2%- less than HALF of the other 2 groups of chiropractic patients had ongoing issues.

Indeed, as chiropractors have said for years, it appears that chiropractic care and adjustments gets down to the root of the problem versus just responding to symptoms.
